Dear Fiske Families,
I hope this email finds you well. We have a few important dates that are coming up so please mark your calendar.
Kindergarten Class of 2020-2021 Parent Orientation- Monday, June 1- 6:00-7:00 p.m.
Each year we organize an evening Kindergarten Parent Orientation. Due to the Coronavirus we have had to adapt these plans. The new Kindergarten Parent/Guardian orientation will be held on Monday, June 1 at 6:00 pm via Zoom conference. The Zoom conference code will be sent 1 hour before the meeting. The Fiske Kindergarten Team looks forward to welcoming our new Kindergarten families.
All School Assembly- Wednesday, June 3 at 9:00 a.m.
Please have your students join us for a Fiske Falcon all school assembly on Wednesday, June 3 at 9:00 a.m. Our Zoom contract allows us to have 300 participants. In an effort not to exceed that number we are asking that families of multiple Fiske children use 1 device when joining the meeting. The Zoom code will be sent out Wednesday, June 3 at 8:30 a.m. We look forward to seeing all of the Fiske Falcons join us!
Evening Chat with the Principal – Tuesday, June 2-(K-2) and Thursday, June 4 (3-5)-6:00-7:00 p.m.
Last week we had our first Parent/Guardian Evening chat with the Principal. The next sessions of these will be:

K-2 parents/guardians – Tuesday, June 2 from 6:00 -7:00 p.m.

Grade 3-5 parents/guardians – Thursday, June 4 from 6:00-7:00 pm
Please be aware that these sessions are for parents and guardians.
Parent Pick Up of Student Materials-Wednesday, June 10th- time of pick up to be determined
It is time to clean up the school and start getting the building ready for the beginning of 2020-2021 school year. With that in mind we are reserving Wednesday, June 10th for parents to pick up their child’s belongings that were left in school on March 12th. Pick up will be similar to carline.

Each grade level will be given a time to arrive at Fiske. These times will be sent out next week via email

Parents/guardians are asked to drive to the carline with their child/children’s name prominently posted in the right corner of the windshield.

Once parked in carline, open the trunk of your car and your child’s materials will be placed in the trunk. Please do not get out of the car.

Families with multiple children going to Fiske should come during the time slot of the youngest child in the family to avoid going through the carline multiple times.
If you have any library books, please bring them on June 10th to place in a bin as you are receiving your child’s belongings. The bin will be brought to your car for you to drop the books in.
Fifth Grade Move-Up Day- Monday, June 15 – 9:00 a.m.
Our fifth grader students are leaving us. Before they go we would like to celebrate all they have learned and given during their time at Fiske. Please join us for a virtual Move-Up Day on Monday, June 15th at 9:00 am. Links to this program will be sent out on the morning of June 15th.
