Fiske Families,
Thanksgiving Break begins Wednesday, November 25th at 12:15 p.m. Cohort B will return to school in-person on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. Cohort A will be in-person (full day) on Wednesday, December 2nd. If you are planning on leaving early, or returning after 12/1/2020 please let me know so that we can update attendance accordingly. Please be aware that we expect students to be at school during their designated live instruction days. Some families have asked to zoom in as they travel but unfortunately we need to reserve this option for families managing illnesses or who may be quarantining. Thank you for your understanding. Thank you to the Varma, Bixby, Chaudhuri and Chadda families for sharing their Diwali tradition of gifts and sweets with the Fiske staff. The Diwali holiday is the celebration of good over evil and light over darkness. Each year the staff looks forward to the wonderful traditional foods that are shared with us. We truly appreciate the families continuing this tradition within the limits of COVID. We wish you the best during your Diwali celebrations.
The Turkey Trot is coming!!! The Fiske students are very excited to participate in the Fiske Turkey Trot on Monday, November 23(Cohort A) and Tuesday, Tuesday 24 (Cohort B). Each class has a specific time during the day to walk/run while also practicing social distancing. Please remember to send in a canned good to donate to the Wellesley Food Pantry. Thank you
Holiday Travel Safety
The holiday season is upon us and is often a time for travel and hosting family and friends from all over the country. Our incredible WPS Nursing team put together a web page regarding travel safety. Please see the WPS Nursing Thanksgiving Travel page for more information. We must continue to work together to assure the health and safety of our Fiske Community. Flu Vaccination Reminder
Flu vaccinations are required for all students by December 31, 2020. In order to attend school in January 2021, please submit physician documentation of flu vaccination by December 31, 2020. If you have already completed this process, thank you. Please call or email me with any questions.

Mask Reminders
The students are doing a Fisketastic job of wearing their masks. When sending your child/children to school, please make sure your child/children’s masks fits snugly over their nose and mouth. Some students have mentioned wanting a new mask after lunch. If possible, spend in a second mask for students to wear in the afternoon. Thank you and stay safe
