Dear Fiske Families,
Thank you to our teachers for hosting a wonderful Back-to-School Night for all parents/guardians to enjoy. It was so nice to see so many of our community in attendance.
Thank you to Ms. Verret and her musical friends for educating our grade 2-5 students on the many different instruments available to play. If you would like more information on Wellesley’s Instrumental and Vocal Extension program (IVEP), click on this link IVEP Information. For further question, please email Fiske’s music teacher, Julie Verret verretj@wellesleyps.org
Three times a year Fiske, in collaboration with the Wellesley Recreation Department, offers after school STEAM programs at Fiske for our students. To learn more about classes offered, or to enroll your child, please click on this link; https://wellesleyma.gov/718/After-School-Program.
*Scholarships available upon request. Contact Michelle DeSantis (desantism@wellesleyps.org) for more information.
Carline
Parking is extremely limited during arrival and dismissal. We encourage all parents to use the carline if they are driving their children to school in the morning or home at the end of the day. The upper parking lot spaces are for Fiske and PAWS staff only. Do not park on Hastings Street in front of the building as it makes it hard for the buses to get by.
Carline Tips:
Do
-
Use the car line if your driving you child/children to school
-
Drive safely at all times
-
Come to a full stop before opening a car door
-
Have your child get themselves in and out of the car on the right/curb side
Don’t
-
Pull out of car line
-
Let your child out of the car until you see a Fiske Staff member outside at carline
-
Get in the carline before 2:50 p.m.
-
Drop your child off at the lower parking lot, this is an active parking lot with several moving cars and buses
