The Fiske Western Round Up will be on Saturday, September 30 from 11:00-3:00 p.m. Let’s get excited for this event and wear our western attire on Friday, September 29th. The PTO will also be hosting a pop up western shop, Uncle Joe’s Store, on Friday morning before school. For more information please see this checklist of important dates;

MAP Assessment
Yesterday our grade 3-5 students participated in the NWEA MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Growth online assessment in mathematics. The district is administering the assessment to grade 3, 4 and 5 students in each school. The MAP is a high quality assessment that helps to inform instruction. The purpose of the assessment is to identify a student’s strengths and needs in mathematics with a high level of validity and reliability. This assessment will assist teachers with planning curricular extensions and identifying areas for support. More information about NWEA MAP Growth can be found at: https://www.nwea.org/map-growth/.
After School STEM Classes

HOSTS NEEDED FOR GRADE-WIDE PARENT SOCIALS!
These socials are a great way to kick off the new school year! It is an opportunity to meet new families and see old friends in your child’s grade. These events are parent/guardian only, held on a weekend evening in early Fall. Guests are asked to bring an appetizer or dessert and a beverage of choice to share with the group. Invitations will be sent via email from the hosts.
