Dear Fiske Families,
Throughout the year the Fiske PTO volunteers consistently support our students and teachers every day. The entire Fiske Staff is incredibly appreciative of all the PTO does for our school. We invite all PTO volunteers to join us for a PTO Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast on Wednesday, May 31st at 8:45 a.m. in the Teachers’ Room. At 9:15 a.m. we will adjourn to the library to hear from our Math Coach, Lisa Humphrey, and Literacy Specialist, Kristin Stoetzel, to share ways your children can access Dreambox and Raz-Kids this summer.
The Student Council is organizing an all school pajama day on Friday, May 19th. If your child would like, they can wear their pajamas to school. In addition, we are asking students to bring a book they enjoy to school to share with their peers. The goal of this is for children to generate a list of books they would like to read over the summer. We look forward to a fun day exploring books in our pajamas.

Field Day is an event for students to participate in fun and challenging activities with their class. Your child will be outside in the sun for an extended period of time. Please remember to send them with sunscreen on, a hat, sneakers and loose and comfortable clothes and water bottle with their name on it. I have been reminding the children about these tips as well.
Thanks for all your help and support. This Field Day is sure to be a success!!!!
The Gr. 5 vs Staff kickball game will be held on the Fiske baseball diamond at 1:30 p.m. on Monday June 19th. The entire school will be able to watch this fun and exciting game. Please send your child to school with sunscreen on and a hat as they will be sitting outside for an extended period of time. The 5th graders will wear their class t-shirts for this fun event.
Thanks,
Christina Gerst
