Hello Hardy Families…December 4, 2015
Hardy is known for its amazing playground but over time some of the equipment needs to be repaired or due to age, no longer meets the safety codes. Unfortunately, we had a set of swings that needed to be taken down because they were in need of extensive repair and they were not meeting the safety codes.  Fortunately, they will be replaced in the spring.
The Hardy book group will meet this Wednesday in my office from 6:30 to 7:30 to discuss the book Odd Girl Out by Rachel Simmons.  I highly recommend this book to parents of girls to gain a little insight in the world of girl bullying or as Rachel Simmons refers to it, alternative aggression.  Even if you haven’t read the book I am sure the discussion will be enlightening.  Lisa Goodman and I will both be here to get the conversation started.
Just a reminder:  Please leave the crosswalk clear so Hardy families can walk across Hardy Street safely at dismissal.  With the winter weather upon us we need to stay in the habit of staying clear of pedestrians, especially since in bad weather cars can slip on spots of ice and snow.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you,
Charlene Cook, Principal
