As we wrapped up our parent-teacher conferences this past week, we hope that there has been a strong connection established between the home and the school as we work together to help support student success!

Hardy School Council
This past week, the Hardy School Council met for the first time. The Council includes the following members: Staff representatives– Grant Smith, Caryn Berkowitz, Kristina Thompson and Neysa McNamara. Parent representatives – Maitri Patel, Sabreena Kropp, Rebecca Crane and Dana Zampini. Community representative– Lisa Fico. As part of our meeting, we discussed past initiatives of the Council including the Buddy Program and cultural diversity work. We also discussed ways in which we would continue these efforts in the 2020-2021 school year. Stay tuned for updates on the work of the Council in future principal letters.
Special Thanks
Thanks to the PTO for their generous show of appreciation over the past couple of weeks. During Halloween, staff members were given a special Halloween food treat. Also during our first School Spirit days, all staff members were given a Hardy mask. We appreciate the PTO’s ongoing support!
