Dear Hardy families,
I hope everyone is enjoying the summer-like weather that we’re experiencing!
Field Day:
Our talented fitness and health teacher, Mr. Guzzi has provided the following update about Field Day this year:
We are happy to announce that there will be a Field Day this year, although it will look a little different from previous years. Students will be able to celebrate the end of the year with some fun activities led by Mr. Guzzi and the Hardy teachers on Thursday, June 10th (rain date: Friday June, 11th). It will take place throughout the day with one grade going outside at a time but staying with their own class. One thing that will be similar is there will be some choices as to what they want to do instead of a requirement to do all the activities. There is not a need for parent volunteers this year due to the changes. We are certain the students will enjoy their time during our modified, but still fun, Field Day!
Review of updated WPS Health & Safety Protocols:
Last week, Superintendent Dr. Lussier sent a letter to the Wellesley Public Schools community that outlined information about updated health and safety protocols. These protocols are now in effect throughout the district, including Hardy. Here is a LINK to the letter that was shared out.
School Spirit Day:
On Friday of this coming week, we’ll have our next School Spirit Day. Students are invited to wear their Hardy gear or red clothing to school to show support. Go Huskies!
Have a great week!
Respectfully yours,
Grant Smith
Principal
