Hello Hardy families,
On Wednesday, we celebrated International Walk to School Day. It was great to see so many Hardy families who walked to school (or students who participated by doing special walking laps upon arrival)!

Music teacher Mr. Corcoran and first grade teacher Mrs. Lilley handed out special stickers for participants.

At our first meeting, we reviewed district goals, discussed past School Council initiatives and began to discuss new initiatives for this upcoming school year. Stay tuned for updates on the work of the Council in future principal letters.

Parent-Teacher Conference sign up
As a reminder, parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Oct. 27, Nov. 2 & 3. Classroom teachers are in the process of sharing information about conference sign-up. Families have the choice between doing these in-person or virtual (Zoom-based). For those families who will be coming to the building for in-person conferences, please remember to be masked and to sign in by the main office prior to proceeding to your child(ren)’s classroom(s).

Have a great week!

Respectfully yours,
Grant Smith
Principal
