Dear Hardy families,
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving holiday!
Highlights from the past two weeks:
*We had our November School Spirit Day on Friday, November 19th as students showed their Hardy spirit!
Third graders showed off their Hardy Husky pride!
*We had a Turkey Trot walk to school day on Friday, November 19th.
Mr. Guzzi, our dedicated PE teacher, greeting student walkers while wearing a special turkey on his head!
*We had a special all-school pajama day on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Fourth graders showed off their favorite pajamas!
Blue Ribbon ceremony reminder
As a reminder, in recognition of Hardy being designated a 2021 National Blue Ribbon School, we are planning to have a special outdoor ceremony on Friday, December 10th (rain date of December 17th) from 8:40-9:00 AM. This will be held behind the building on the Hardy field. Parents and guardians are invited to stay after drop off and watch this program (as this is a brief program, this will be for standing room only for any parent/guardian attendees). We are looking forward to celebrating Hardy being the recipient of this prestigious award!
Stuffed Animal Spirit Day
Our first fifth grade planned Spirit Day will take place this Friday, December 3rd. Students are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to school. As we don’t have space to accommodate large stuffed animals, we are asking that the stuffed animals be small enough to fit inside a student’s backpack.
Have a great week!
Respectfully yours,
Grant Smith
Principal
