Highlight from the past week
*On Wednesday, Hardy participated in the Massachusetts Winter Walk and Roll to School Day as students were encouraged to walk and roll to school. Kudos to our dedicated PE teacher Mr. Guzzi for promoting this event at Hardy!
World Map Bulletin Board
As previewed in a Principal Letter in December, we have finished gathering data and have now put up a special bulletin board with a world map and the title “How many languages do Hardy Huskies speak?” Students see prominently that 33 different languages are represented in our community. We hope this display serves as a great celebration of the diversity within the Hardy community!
Important health reminders
In an effort to continue to promote practices that will contribute to a healthy school community, please be mindful of the following health reminders:
- Get vaccinated and receive a booster if you are eligible;
- Do not come to school if you exhibit any COVID-related symptoms, even if mild;
- Wear a properly-fitting mask while indoors at school;
- Wear a mask when you attend large indoor gatherings or participate in indoor activities, such as shopping, when you don’t know the vaccination status of those around you;
- Practice social distancing where possible, particularly when not wearing a mask.

WPS COVID-19 at home viral testing program
For families with children who are being tested as part of the COVID-19 at home viral testing program, only positive results should be reported and via this link: WPS Positive Result Reporting Form. Assigned color spirit day
We’ll have our rescheduled assigned color spirit day this upcoming Friday. As a reminder of the color assignments:
Kindergarten- red
First grade- orange
Second grade- yellow
Third grade- green
Fourth grade- blue
Fifth grade- purple
