Hello Hardy,
*This past week we had our annual Book fFair. As part of this event, we had a special family night on Tuesday, where we were joined by author Mat Heagerty who read an excerpt from one of his books to students in attendance. A special thanks goes out to parent organizer Jamie Foley and other parents who volunteered to help this book fair to be such a success!
*On Tuesday, we had a special Creative Arts and Sciences program – Tape Art. Students enjoyed using tape to make some amazing creations!
*On Friday, we had our School Spirit day for November. Students showed off their Husky and Hawks pride!
Calendar reminder
As a reminder, this week:
*Wednesday- half day- 12:00 PM dismissal as usual
*Thursday & Friday- no school for Thanksgiving holiday
Pajama & Stuffed Animal Day
As part of reaching the PTO direct appeal goal, we will have a Pajama Day on Tuesday. Also, as students were helpful with taking down the tape in the hallways from the Tape Art program, they also are able to bring a stuffed animal (that can fit into a backpack) to school.
Special Thanks
Thanks to the PTO for providing our faculty and staff with a delicious Thanksgiving themed breakfast this past Friday. A special thanks goes out to parent Diana Cukali for organizing and setting up this delicious breakfast. We are most grateful for the PTO’s ongoing support!
