Hopefully everyone had a restful vacation!

Highlights from the week before vacation:

*On Tuesday, we had a Walk and Bike to School Day. Kudos to fitness & health teacher Mr. Guzzi for planning this special day for our school.

*On Friday, we had a Mis-Matched Day as students had fun wearing mismatched clothing to school.
 

School Council update

At our most recent meeting, we discussed a time capsule that is being planned to go into the new Hardy School building. This will be a class gift from the Hardy School class of 2024. As part of our meeting, we brainstormed ideas for the contents of the time capsule that would help an audience of the future to understand more about Hardy School presently and modern day life in 2023. Students will also have the opportunity to weigh in on the contents of the time capsule as they will be able to vote on popular kid songs, movies, and books from 2023 that can be highlighted as part of the time capsule.

All call for Library Volunteers

Our librarian Lisa Sheehan is hoping to get more support in the library from parent volunteers. This can be on a short term basis and she is open to as much or little time that a parent may have to offer. School Spirit Day

We’ll be having our next School Spirit Day this upcoming Friday. Students are invited to wear their Husky or Hawks gear to school.
