Dear Hardy families,
HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE PAST WEEK:
We wrapped up our fall parent-teacher conferences. As part of this, parents and teachers came together to discuss students and establish a shared vision for student success.
On Tuesday, we had our last special Spirit Day for October, as students wore orange, black, and purple colored clothing to school.
Pickleball is now available for students to play at recess. A special thanks to the PTO for funding this for students to use at recess.
PROJECT BUILD HARDY UPDATE
We have a new bulletin board that has gone up in the main hallway. This board showcases a sampling of the dream schools that were created by Hardy students in October. It also provides a preview of our next theme, which is architecture. In two weeks, we’ll be having our next Project Build Hardy assembly where we’ll have one of the architects for the Hardy project come and speak to students. Stay tuned for another update after we hear from this speaker to learn more about this assembly and the follow up activities that are planned for classrooms.
REMINDER ABOUT STUDENTS NOT CLIMBING IN TREES
Parents and caregivers are reminded to not allow students to climb in trees located around the property (particularly in the area outside of the gym) during dismissal time. We want to make sure we keep students and trees safe & healthy. Thanks for your cooperation!
Have a great week!
Respectfully yours,
Grant Smith
