On Friday, we had a Project Build Hardy assembly for the month of January. See more information below.
We also had a School Spirit day as students showed off their school spirit.
Project Build Hardy
As part of our Project Build Hardy initiative, we are focused on structure/foundations during the month of January. At the Project Build Hardy assembly on Friday, Lisa Fox, the PreK-5 Department Head for Science & Engineering, presented to students the following slides presentation: Structures & Foundations
Students will now complete highly engaging activities in classrooms focused on constructing towers with strong foundations. Stay tuned for more updates on Project Build Hardy throughout the year!
Reminder- Proposal for Updating Elementary Redistricting Map- Public Forum
As a reminder, tomorrow, January 29, 7pm, there will be the second public forum on the proposed redistricting map: this will take place via Zoom (Link to Register)
If you would like to provide feedback to the School Committee before an updated map is approved, you may participate in public comment at January 30 meeting, email the School Committee (school_committee@wellesleyps.
As additional information, a slide deck with an updated proposal for elementary redistricting has been posted.
Reminder Social-Emotional Learning at Hardy- Parent Presentation
Please join Lisa Goodman, Julie McMeamy and me as we share about Social-Emotional Learning at Hardy this Thursday, February 1, 6 PM in the library (you can also join by Zoom using the following link Join Zoom Meeting https://us06web.zoom.us/j/
Meeting ID: 890 0115 1769 Passcode: 877840). As part of this, we will share the SEL building blocks and how we’ve integrated the Second Step Curriculum including the bullying prevention lessons in the classroom. We’ll also have parent resources available.
