Hello Hardy
Highlights from the week before vacation: We had a Spirit Week and students and staff had a lot of fun getting into the spirit. On Monday, it was mismatched day. On Tuesday, it was stuffed animal day and Wednesday, it was crazy hat day. On Thursday, it was pajama day and we ended the week with School Spirit Day.
On Wednesday, we had the December Dash Walk & Roll to School Day. Kudos to Mr. Guzzi for planning this event for our school. Also on Wednesday, Hardy students sang holiday songs to seniors at two different senior living facilities. Thanks to the community service committee for planning this for Hardy students!
On Friday, we had our Winter Concert featuring our 5th grade chorus and our instrumental music students.
Grab & Go Breakfast Reminder
Beginning on Tuesday, Wellesley Public Schools will offer boxed breakfast options daily to all students starting at 8:15 a.m.
Breakfast options are free and students do not need to sign up ahead of time. Each day will include one main breakfast item and one gluten-free option. Please see the January breakfast menu (it reads Bates, but it’s the same menu for all schools) from Whitsons (it can also be found on the Whitsons Meal Planner site).
Students should pick up their breakfasts in the cafeteria at arrival (between 8:15- 8:30 AM) and then they will bring the breakfasts to their classrooms to eat.
