Hello Hardy

Highlights from the past week: On Wednesday, we had a St. Patrick’s Day themed Walk & Roll to School Day.

On Thursday, we had Bingo Night. It was great to see so many families in attendance for this beloved Hardy tradition.

On Friday, we had an all-school meeting led by our first graders. Students showed off their knowledge of shadows as part of sharing a shadow puppet show. We also had student talents on display.

Kindness Week

Just like a tiny seed can grow into a big, strong plant, small acts of kindness can grow into something amazing! In our school, we’re planting “seeds of kindness” to help our community blossom with care, respect, and friendship.

Each student will have a chance to plant their own seed in our “Hardy Garden” (the downstairs, central bulletin board), as they record a way they have shown an act of kindness on a seed paper.

Through our project, we’ll be spreading kindness all over the school, one seed at a time. How We’re Planting Kindness:

Helping a classmate with their work

       Saying “thank you” and “please”

       Sharing our toys or supplies

       Giving compliments

       Helping to clean up

Being friendly and listening to others
