Highlight from the Past Week
On Tuesday, there was a special CAS program for our Kindergarteners that was focused on the integration of art with music.
Student Council Update
In our current round of Student Council, we have select students from both 5th grade classes working together in one group. They are showing teamwork as they work on a collaborative project designed to make Hardy a better place. This group developed an area of focus consisting of writing persuasive letters to the PTO about a proposed special event that they’d like the PTO to consider adding to their line up of community events. This provides an opportunity for students to have a voice in shaping the Hardy community. Stay tuned for updates on the work on the student council in future Principal Letters.
Attention Parents/Guardians of Students who Receive Support from our Hard-Working BCBAs
As we approach the holiday season, we know some families may consider buying gifts for staff members. Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) cannot accept gifts of any kind per the Behavior Analyst Certification Board’s Code of Ethics. Below is a list of current BCBAs. Attention Parents/Guardians of Students Performing in the Holiday Concert – Mark Your Calendars!
On December 19th at 8:45 AM we will have our annual holiday concert. This will be by our 5th grade chorus and our instrumental music students. Parents/guardians of student performers are invited to attend, so mark your calendars.
