Highlights from the Past Week
On Friday, we had our Winter Concert as our instrumental music students and our 5th grade chorus performed for the community. Students did a fantastic job! On Friday, we had our School Spirit Day for December as students showed their School Spirit by sporting Hardy Husky gear.
Winter Gingerbread Stroll
At our most recent class buddy meetings, all classes began a school wide community building project! Students listened to the story Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett. They then decorated individual pictures of gingerbread houses. These were used to create large scale gingerbread house designs, as each grade level will transform a whiteboard in their pod into a gingerbread house! On Tuesday morning, all of Hardy will be taking a stroll through each of the grade level pods to see and celebrate their classmates’ creations. While this stroll is taking place, we’ll have winter themed music (“Frosty the Snowman” etc) playing on the PA system. Hardy School will end 2025 building connections and community that will carry over into the New Year!
Spirit Days Reminder
As we head into the winter vacation, we’ll also have some additional special Spirit Days. Tomorrow, we’ll have a Crazy Hat Day. On Tuesday, we’ll have a PJ Day.
