Dear Hardy families,
Highlights from the past week:
*This past week, I started to visit classrooms to share special picture books that make for great read aloud stories. This serves as a great way to make positive connections with students in the school community. I look forward to continuing to do these read-alouds in the coming week.
*On Friday, we had a special student principal of the day- Brooke Voith. This was a prize from a PTO auction that took place in the spring. As part of Brooke’s special day, she helped with overseeing arrival and dismissal and led the morning announcements over the PA system. You did a great job, Principal Voith!
Back to School Night Schedule
As a reminder, we’ll be having our Back to School Night on Thursday. This will be a virtual event taking place over Zoom.
The schedule will be:
5:45-6:00 PM – Principal & PTO welcome
6:10-6:40 PM – Gr. 4, 5
6:50-7:20 PM – Gr. K, 1
7:30-8:00 PM – Gr. 2, 3
For the Principal & PTO welcome, we will be sharing a Zoom link later in the week.
For the classroom presentations, classroom teachers will be sharing a Zoom link.
School Spirit Days
Each month we will have a School Spirit day. Typically this will take place on the last Friday of the month. Students are invited to wear their Hardy gear or red clothing that shows support for our school. Our first School Spirit day will take place this upcoming Friday, September 24th. We look forward to students showing their spirit as proud Hardy Huskies!
