Hello Hardy
Highlights from the past week:
*On Friday, second grade student Hailey Aldoupolis served as Principal of the Day. She did a great job as she helped with tasks like overseeing arrival & dismissal and leading morning announcements.
*Today Hardy students participated in the town’s Memorial Day parade. It was great that Hardy students had the opportunity to be part of this patriotic town-wide event.

Staffing Updates
*Mrs. Sullivan, our outstanding school nurse, has announced that she is retiring at the end of the school year. We are very sad to be seeing Mrs. Sullivan go, but are happy for her that she has the freedom of retirement to look forward to as part of the next chapter. Please join me in wishing Mrs. Sullivan a happy retirement!
*Ms. Kess, our amazing art teacher, is out on medical leave until June 14th. In working with Art Department head Thomas Carter, we have substitute coverage arranged each day with detailed sub plans to ensure that high quality art instruction will continue during this absence. We look forward to having Ms. Kess back with us soon!
School Spirit Day
This upcoming Friday we will be having our next School Spirit Day. Students are encouraged to wear their Hardy gear or red colored clothing to school.
Respectfully yours,
Grant Smith
