Hello Hardy

*On Tuesday, we had Kindergarten Orientation, as we welcomed in parents of the Hardy graduating class of 2029. We look forward to seeing their children for Kindergarten screening this coming week! 

*On Wednesday, we had a Bike, Walk, and Roll to school day. Kudos to Fitness & Health Teacher Mr. Guzzi for planning this event for our students.
 
*On Wednesday, we had 8th graders from Wellesley Middle School come to Hardy as part of a district-wide Service Day, in which students performed acts of service in the six Wellesley elementary schools.

School Council Update

At our School Council meeting this past week, we continued our planning of Project Build Hardy. We discussed the exciting news that we have been awarded a $6,000 grant from the Wellesley Education Foundation to fund this initiative. With this funding, we’ll purchase construction themed books and building materials for classrooms. We also continued our planning of the time capsule that will go into the new school building. We are excited to continue our planning in the fall as the contents of this time capsule is firmed up and then placed into the walls of the new building. Stay tuned for more updates on the work of the School Council in future principal letters.

Attention Kindergarten Parents

You are invited to our next all school meeting, which will be led by our Kindergarten students. This will take place this upcoming Friday at 8:45 AM in the gym.
