Hello Hardy
On Friday, Hero the Husky visited classrooms and acknowledged classes that had hit their paws target in the previous two weeks. Also on Friday, Classroom Buddies met together. Many classes made thank you cards for the construction team members who built our beautiful new school building!
Spirit Week
During the week of December 16th-20th, we will have a Spirit Day each day of the week. The plan will be as follows:
Monday, Dec. 16th- mismatched day (students wear mismatched clothing- spots/polka dots, mismatched socks etc.)
Tuesday, Dec. 17th- stuffed animal day (students bring stuffed animals to school)
Wednesday, Dec. 18th- crazy hat day (students wear crazy hats to school)
Thursday, Dec. 19th- pajama day (students wear PJs to school)
Friday, Dec. 20th- Hardy Spirit Day (students wear Hardy spirit gear or red/black colored clothing to school)
We look forward to a fun week going into the winter break!
Weston Road Parking Lot Reminder
As a reminder, families walking or riding bikes to/from Hardy by the Weston Rd. parking lot are reminded to make sure they are using the sidewalk that runs between the field and the parking lot. Please do not walk/ride bikes through the parking lot due to safety concerns with cars pulling in/backing out. Thank you for your cooperation.
Arrival Time Reminder & Tardy Procedure
In order for classes to start on time, students must be walking into the building by 8:30 AM. At 8:30 AM, we will shut the cafeteria door. If you arrive after the cafeteria door is shut, students must enter through the main entrance and get a tardy slip. Parents/guardians must accompany their child(ren) into the office when they arrive after 8:30 AM. Thank you for your efforts to support students arriving on time.
