Dear Hardy families, It was great to see many of you at Back to School Night on Thursday!
Highlights from the Past Week
On Thursday, we had Back to School Night as we welcomed parents and guardians to Hardy to share information about the year ahead! For those families who missed the Principal/PTO welcome, you can access the slide deck here.
An election for parent reps to serve on the Hardy School Council took place and parents Maura Renzella, Jenny Dolan, and Erica Graf were elected. Thank you Maura, Jenny, and Erica for your willingness to serve in this way!
On Friday, we had class buddies. Kindergarteners met with fifth grade, first grade met with third grade, and second grade met with fourth grade. Students were introduced to their assigned buddies and students had the chance to focus on some get to know you activities.
Dates for All-school Meetings
As we’ve done in past years, parents/guardians are invited to attend the all-school meetings that are led by their child(ren)’s grade level. Please take note of the following scheduled dates:
These all-school meetings take place from 8:45-9:15 a.m. in the cafeteria.
Attention Fifth Grade Parents/Guardians
You are invited to an upcoming all-school meeting led by our fifth graders. This will take place on Friday, Sept. 25, from 8:45-9:15 a.m. in our cafeteria.
Annual Basic Rights Presentation: A guide for Parents in Special Education
The Wellesley Special Education Parents Advisory Council (SEPAC) and Wellesley Public Schools Student Services invite you to join us for our Annual Basic Rights Presentation- Understanding Your Rights: A Guide for Parents in Special Education on Monday, Sept. 28, at 5:30 p.m. at Hardy Elementary School. Spirit Day
On Friday, we will have our first School Spirit Day of the year. Students are invited to wear their Husky gear or red/black clothing to school.
