Highlight from the Past Week
On Monday, we had a Creative Arts & Sciences program for grade K & 1 as Pumpernickel Puppets came to Hardy.
Pumpkin Fair & Pajama Day Reminder
This Friday at 8:45 AM, we will have our annual Pumpkin Parade. We’ll also have a special school-wide Pajama Day to add to the fun! Students are invited to decorate pumpkins in any way they want – real or fake pumpkin is fine! Students are to bring pumpkins with them to school on the 30th. Staff will be on hand at arrival to take pumpkins from pumpkins and arrange by class. Parents/guardians are invited to view these pumpkins. Come to the outside of the front of the building starting at 8:45 AM for this event. Class pumpkins will be placed together. Students will parade through our line of amazing pumpkins!
Parent-Teacher Conference Reminder
We will begin parent-teacher conferences this week. As part of this, parents/guardians and teachers will come together to discuss students and establish a shared vision for student success.
DIBELS and MAP Scores
Parents/guardians can now access the beginning of year reports for DIBELS (K-3) and MAP scores (3-5) in the PowerSchool parent portal.
Carline Reminder – Using Name Signs at Car Line During Pick Up
As a friendly reminder for families doing pick up in the car line at dismissal, please make sure to have posted a sign with your child’s last name to the passenger side window of the vehicle. Also please keep this sign up throughout the duration of the carline. This will help to expedite the pick up process.
School Spirit Day
As Friday is a Pajama Day, we’ll move our monthly school spirit day to Thursday. Students are encouraged to wear their Hardy gear or red/black clothing to school.
