Parent Book Group:
Please join Lisa Goodman and me for our first parent book group of the year. We will be meeting Wednesday, December 7th from 6:30-7:30 in my office to discuss the book, The Big Disconnect, Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age by Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair. Dr. Steiner-Adair will be presenting to the entire Wellesley Public Schools faculty on November 28th during the Professional Day and there will be an evening presentation for parents to be announced at a later date.
Math Night:
Math night is next Monday, November 14th from 5:30 to 7:00. The purpose of this night is to have parents play math games to give them experience and exposure to the types of games we use in school to reinforce math concepts. All are welcome. This is not a student drop off event.
Winter Music Assembly:
The Winter Music Assembly will be on Monday December 12th from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m. All are welcome!
Candy donations:
Thank you for dropping off all of the candy to donate to the troops. We filled six full tubs! If you can volunteer to bring the candy to Drs. Ali’s office, please contact the office.
Hardy School Council: Technology discussion
The School Council will be discussing the use of social media and other issues related to the use of technology at our next meeting. We will also be previewing the School Improvement Plan presentation. Everyone is welcome to join our meetings. The next meeting is Thursday Nov. 10th at 7:45 to 8:30 a.m. in the Learning Center.
