Dear Hunnewell,
I hope everyone has managed some rest and relaxation this summer despite the heavy rainfalls. We are just over two weeks away from the start of the 2023-24 school year and I look forward to welcoming everyone back to their host schools.
I visited Hunnewell last Monday and the school looks amazing. They were skim coating the floors, painting walls, and installing windows. We are on schedule for a February opening! In the coming weeks, I will share more information and a timeline of events leading up to the move.
Please remember that this week The Parent Portal opens to all families on Wednesday, August 16, at noon. After you complete the parent portal updates and permissions for each student in your family, you will see your child’s assigned classroom teacher. If you need help accessing the portal, please email portal@wellesleyps.org. The portal will remain open for updates until September 6. In addition, please be on the lookout for an email from your child’s classroom teacher on August 23.
You will continue to receive updates from the host school principals. I will try not to overwhelm your inboxes, but I will be in closer contact with you this year, as we plan for our return to Hunnewell. I want to make sure you have all the information you need, so that we can work together to have a seamless transition in February.
