Dear Hunnewell,
We are so excited to welcome the K-2 students into the building on Monday and our 3-5 students on Thursday. The students will be here from about 9AM to noon and will have lunch here. They will have an option to buy lunch, and will place their order at the host school before boarding the bus. They can also bring their lunch. Please make sure they have a snack and a water bottle! They will be covering a lot of ground on their tour and I am sure have so much to share when they get home.
We are also excited to welcome parents on Thursday night, February 15. The schedule is as follows:
6:00-6:45- K-2 Parent Building Tour
6:45-7:15 All Parent Meeting in Cafe
7:15-8:00 3-5 Parent Tour
Please try to attend during the assigned window, but I know a few have reached out with conflicts and of course, you are welcome to come at the earlier or later time.
After spending some time in this building, I can share that our school community is so very fortunate to be able to have this as our home! I thank all of you for your willingness to participate in the swing space model, so that we could get this building on-line sooner. The moment has arrived! We are coming back to the spectacular new Hunnewell!
I am almost finished updating the Hunnewell Insider’s Guide and Top Ten FAQs. I will get them to you ASAP, so that if you have any questions, you can ask on Thursday night.
