Fiske Families,
Happy New Year! I hope you all had a lovely vacation with your family and friends. The children came back to school ready to learn and see all of their friends. I am looking forward to a night of family fun at Fiske Bingo Night. Bingo begins at 6:00 and is located at Trim Hall at Babson College.
After School Enrichment Classes
Session 2 of the Fiske After School Enrichment classes is in full swing. Session 2 will run from January 10th–February 16th. On Tuesday there is still room in Programming Scratch with Mr. Bell. On Thursdays there is room in Art History with Ms. Joy and Exciting Engineering with Mr. Bell. Students who took these classes last time are welcome to sign up; the student activities will be different from what they did in the Fall.
Registration for these classes began on Wednesday, January 3rd at 7:00 a.m. All registrations go through the Wellesley Recreation Department. Online registration can be completed through the Wellesley Recreation Department online system at berensons or School Psychologist, Sharon Grossman at grossmans .
MCAS
Planning for the MCAS has begun. This year third and fifth grade will take the MCAS with paper and pen. All Fourth grade students in Massachusetts will be taking the MCAS online. Please note the testing dates below and make every effort to have your student at school for each testing sessions.
