Dear Families,

This week the entire school attended the assembly Garbage is My Bag.  Students learned about separating trash from recyclable items and how to identify what items can be recycled. Thank you to Kara Thornton for arranging this Fisketastic assembly for our students.

Just a quick reminder of three events that are coming up next week;

  • Wednesday, May 1 from 6:00-7:30 pm – Come travel the world with the Fiske community during our Fiske Multicultural Evening.  The evening is a celebration of the many cultures that make up our Fiske community. There will be food, books read in a variety of languages, and cultural demonstrations.  So bring your family and friends and join the fun. The schedule for the evening is:

5:30-6:00- Families bringing food can come to the gym to set up their food station

6:00-6:30 – Families are invited to come and enjoy food from around the world

6:30-6:40 – Transition from food to performance and craft sessions

6:40-7:00 Session 1- books, dancing and crafts

7:05-7:25 Session 2- books, dancing and crafts

  • Friday, May 3 at 5:30 pm the Student Council is hosting a family movie night.  Come enjoy a family fun night of pizza and popcorn while watching the movie Chicken Run.  The fee is $25.00 per family. All proceeds will go towards the second annual End-of-Year-Fiske Student Cookout.  Please return attached form to the office by Wednesday, May 1 if you are attending the movie night.   • May 5th at 11:00 am: 19th Annual Officer Savage Memorial 5K (Kids Fun Run at 10:00).  Are you feeling the need to go outside and get some exercise?

Join the Fiske Soaring Falcons Team! Sign-up to run/walk with your Fiske friends.The 5K race begins at 11:00 am (Kids Fun Run at 10:00) For more information and to sign-up, go to  Savage Memorial Road Race . All activities take place at 231 Forest St. – Babson College.  After the race join your friends for a barbeque, obstacle course and bouncy house.
