Fiske Families,

Please remember that we will not be having school on Monday, October 14th  in observance of Columbus Day.

Last week we traveled to Greece in our adventures of Where in the World is Mrs.McGregor.  This week children have been given the following clues that were submitted by a peer:

  • This country was in a war in 1789

  • The flag colors of this country are red, white and blue

  • To fly from Boston to this country will take 8 hours

  • This country is on the continent of Europe

  • One of the world’s most famous bicycle races in this country. The race covers approximately 2, 200 miles and takes about 23 days.

Can you guess Where in the World is Mrs. McGregor?

Please fill out the attached form if you are interested in submitting our next 5 clues about  a country. Children can also pick up forms in the main office.

The parade will conclude by circling the backfield and reentering the building through the back doors. The parade route will be marked by cones.  Fiske’s Student Council members will be leading the parade.

Please be aware that students should refrain from wearing masks, face paint or makeup and leave all props at home.

Please inform your child’s classroom teacher if your child will not be participating in the parade. There will be a fall activity in the library for students who will not be participating in the parade.
