Dear Fiske Families,
It feels like summer! Although I am happy the weather is warmer, my heart is heavy knowing it has been so long since we have all been together. It is such a pleasure to see your children on Zoom meetings. The children are working so hard to make the best of this unique situation. Today was joke day at Fiske and it is safe to say that 5O has some comedians in the making.

Memorial Day weekend is here. Please take a moment this weekend with your family to remember the members of our armed services who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
We are all experiencing life in a remote learning environment. WPS have been partnering with Challenge Success in regards to our social emotional work. Fifth Grade Move- Up Day
Our fifth graders are leaving us in just a few short weeks. Before they go we would like to celebrate all they have learned and given during their time at Fiske. Please join us for a virtual Move-Up Day on Monday, June 15th at 9:00 am. The link to this assembly will be sent out on the morning of June 15th.
Evening Chat with the Principal
Last week we had our first Parent/Guardian Evening chat with the Principal. The next sessions of these will be:

Grade 3-5 Parents/guardians – Thursday, June 4 from 6:00-7:00 pm

Kindergarten Class of 2020-2021 Parent Orientation
Each year we organize an evening Kindergarten Parent Orientation. Due to the Coronavirus we have had to adapt these plans. The new Kindergarten Parent/Guardian orientation will be held on Monday, June 1 at 6:00 pm via Zoom conference. The Zoom conference code will be sent 1 hour before the meeting. The Fiske Kindergarten Team looks forward to welcoming our new Kindergarten families.
