Fiske Families,
On Thursday our friends from the Wellesley Fire Department came to visit our Kindergarten and First Grade classes to teach them about fire safety. The children learned what to do in the event of a fire and how to keep themselves safe.

We had a Fisketastic Friday at Fiske. It started with the parade and then students were able to enjoy some fall fun in their classrooms. A huge thank you to our amazing Student Council for helping put the cones out before the parade and taking them in after the parade. It was so nice to see families join us for this amazing community activity. Thank you to all of the teachers and classroom parents for making this day possible.

Volunteers are needed at the Fiske Library!!!
Dear Fiske Families,
Welcome back to school and library! Our library circulates around 400 books each week. In order to function efficiently, we are looking for volunteers to help us shelve, repair and process books.
We would like to continue the Fiske Library Birthday Book Program, and are hoping for separate parent volunteers that could dedicate some time to help specifically with this ongoing library fundraiser throughout the year.
This year, I hope to get many parent volunteers in our library to help with these jobs. The jobs are not complicated and you will be fully trained by me. Below is a schedule of days volunteers are needed in the library from 8:30-9:30, or 2:30-3:00. If you are interested, please email me with day and time: allenp@wellesleyps.org
