Did you know that October is National Bullying Prevention Month? Building community is an essential part of preventing bullying.  Every day the Fiske teachers and staff work to create a welcoming environment for all students and their families. Building a classroom community of learners is an important part of your child/children’s day.  Each morning students participate in a morning meeting where they are greeted by peers.  Children are also  given an opportunity to participate in a sharing activity and group team building activity.  To further build our sense of community, students participate in all school assemblies that focus on our Fiske Fundamentals; Fair, Inclusive, Safe, Kind and Encouraging. We encourage you to discuss what the Fiske fundamentals mean to your child/children.

Have a Fisketastic long weekend!
