Hello Hardy Families:
During the spring and summer there are staffing changes that take place. I do my best to keep the Hardy families updated. So far we have two staffing changes:
Many of you know Kate Walker, our grade 2 teacher; Kate has been teaching at Hardy for 24 years. She is known for her warmth, kindness, love for children, love for learning and her red wagon. She has decided to retire this year and begin a new phase of her life. We all love Kate and will miss her dearly.
Allison Iannuzzi has taken the open music position at Upham for the fall. I think we can all agree that Allison was an exceptional music teacher. I am very sad that she will be leaving Hardy but Wellesley students will continue to benefit from her talents. Our district-wide Director of Music will be leading the hiring process and we should have a new teacher known to us by the end of the school year.

Based on these enrollment numbers we will have 16 sections in total verses the 17 sections we currently have. This means that the art and music room will again be shared just as it was the 2014-2015 school year. Half of the year art will be on a cart and the other half music will be on a cart.
