Hello Hardy Families:
Just a reminder that if your child is coming into school late the process is below:
- Walk your child into the office.
- Let Mrs. Rixon know that your child is late.
- Your child will receive a late pass to give to the classroom teacher.
- Children walk to class on their own.
The next time you are at Hardy check out the bulletin board in the entryway. Grade 4 Troop # 72113 made a display for all of us to enjoy and use. I would also like to thank the Troop leaders: Carolyn Morris, Kristin Brown and Sam Gauldie for taking this on for us. Each month there will be a calendar filled with daily strategies to share kindness with one another. A picture of the board is below:

This year all students across the state of Massachusettes will be taking the MCAS on laptops or iPads. To help us prepare, the students engaged in an infrastructure trial earlier this week and will have an opportunity to experience tutorials using the MCAS format prior to testing. The schedule for MCAS is below:
ELA: Grade 3: April 25 & 26
Grade 4: April 4 & 5
Grade 5: April 8 & 9
Math: Grade 3: May 10 & 13
Grade 4: May 16 & 17
Grade 5: May 6 & 7
Science: Grade 5: May 17 & 20
