Hello Hardy Families,

As it’s been a while since we shared our car line procedures at the beginning of the year, we thought it would be helpful to remind families of our expectations. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!

Car Drop Off Reminders
In an effort to support a safe and efficient drop off in the morning, we ask that families adhere to the following procedures:

  • Please pull around the far curve at the end of Hardy Road.
  • Please pull all the way up to the front of the line before letting your child(ren) out of the car.
  • Please do not let your child(ren) out of the car at the back of the line.
  • Please wait patiently for your turn.
  • Please do not cut in front of other cars when arriving at drop off.
  • Please do not get out of the car to help your child(ren) out. If needed, a staff member on duty will support.

No Idling Reminder
Wellesley Green Schools is trying to bring attention to the issues of car idling. The Town of Wellesley has implemented a new idling violation which the police can enforce. Please click here to read a letter from the Wellesley Police Department Chief Pilecki to the community concerning the new No Idling regulations. This week you’ll notice lawn signs in or near the car line. Families are encouraged to follow the no idling policy during pick up.

School Picture Retake Days
As a reminder, School Picture Retake Days will be on Monday, December 14th for cohort A and Tuesday, December 15th for cohort B.

School Spirit Days
This coming week on Thursday, December 17th and Friday, December 18th, we’ll have our next round of School Spirit Days. Students are invited to wear their Hardy gear or red clothing to school to show support. Go Huskies!

Have a great week!

Sincerely,
Grant Smith
Principal
