Dear Hardy families,
Highlights from the past week:
*On Tuesday, as part of a special election, the town voted in favor of a debt exclusion to fund the construction of a new Hardy School. We are excited about this project and thankful for the community support!
*On Friday, we had a special ceremony to recognize Hardy being named a 2021 Blue Ribbon School. This program served as a great celebration of Hardy being honored with this prestigious award.
*Our third graders participated in a community service project, the Scholastic Pajama Drive. Students donated pajamas and Scholastic Book Clubs donated a brand new book to go with each pair of pajamas that were donated. These pajamas and books will go to a shelter in Framingham. Kudos to our third graders on their act of service!

Let’s continue to follow practices that we know work to keep our school community healthy:
- Get vaccinated and receive a booster if you are eligible;
- Do not come to school if you exhibit any COVID-related symptoms, even if mild;
- Wear a properly-fitting mask while indoors at school;
- Wear a mask when you attend large indoor gatherings or participate in indoor activities, such as shopping, when you don’t know the vaccination status of those around you;
- Practice social distancing where possible, particularly when not wearing a mask.
- If you would like to provide consent for your child to participate in the WPS COVID-19 viral testing program but have not provided consent, please do so using this Testing Program Consent Link Without this consent, students cannot participate in the district’s viral testing program, including the test and stay program.
Special Thanks
A special thanks to the PTO for providing the staff with a special luncheon on Friday as part of the Blue Ribbon celebration. We are so appreciative of your support!
School Spirit Day
Our next School Spirit Day will take place this upcoming Friday, December 17th. Students are invited to wear Hardy gear and/or red clothing to school to show support. Go Hardy Huskies!
Friday December 17th is also the “December Dash” walk to school day!
