Highlights from the week before vacation:
*On Tuesday, we had a Walk to School Day. Kudos to PE teacher Mr. Guzzi for planning this special event for our students!
*As part of our school-wide focus on Relationship Skills (CASEL competency focus for the month), a new bulletin board was put on display in the hallway outside of the art room. Hopefully this will serve as a helpful reminder and resource to students.
Social-Emotional Learning
As part of the April PTO meeting, Principal Grant Smith, School Psychologist Lisa Goodman and KindergartenTeacher Trisha Czyryca did a presentation on Social-Emotional Learning. For parents who missed this presentation, here is the slide deck that was used:

Attention First grade parents
This upcoming Friday, we will be having our next All School Assembly featuring our first grade students. First grade parents are invited to this assembly on Friday at 8:45 AM.
Special Thanks
Thanks to the PTO for providing a delicious luncheon for the staff during the week before vacation. We are appreciative of your ongoing support!
Spirit Day
On Friday, we will have our School Spirit Day for the month of April. Students are invited to wear their Hardy gear or red colored clothing to school. Go Huskies!
