Highlights from the past week:
On Wednesday, we had a Walk & Roll to School Day. Kudos to Mr. Guzzi for planning this special event for our community.
Assistant Principal/Team Chair- Meet the finalists opportunity this Wednesday afternoon
As many of you know, the school budget includes a new position for Hardy next year, Assistant Principal/Special Education Team Chair. After going through a comprehensive interview process, which included parent/guardian representation on the interview team, we have identified finalists for this position. In an effort to not lose out on strong candidates who are also interviewing in our districts, we have scheduled a finalist visit day for this week. Parents/guardians will have the opportunity to meet these finalists on Wednesday afternoon. We will host an in-person meet the finalists opportunity at Hardy School in the 1:30-2:30 PM block. We will share a Zoom link for parents/guardians who are not able to attend in person. We will also share a Google Form to allow parents/guardians to submit their feedback for consideration.
Stay tuned for an email going out tomorrow that will include a reminder of this event. As part of this email, we will identify the names of these finalists and include a brief bio. of each finalist. We will also include the Zoom link for parents/guardians who are unable to attend in person. Finally, we will include a link to the Google Form for feedback submission after the fact.
Kindergarten Orientation
We will be having Kindergarten Orientation this upcoming Thursday, May 9th at 6:00 PM in the Hardy library. While an email invitation did go out to families who have registered their incoming Kindergarten child, we did want to make sure that a broad message went out to Hardy families in an attempt to reach those who have not yet registered their child. We look forward to welcoming in the Hardy School class of 2030!
Attention Kindergarten Parents/Guardians
You are invited to our next all-school meeting which is being led by our Kindergarten students. This will take place on Friday at 8:45 AM in the gym.
