Dear Hunnewell,
I had the pleasure of sitting with Ms. McQuade’s class today as they practiced The Turkey Shot Out of the Oven. While we cannot all be together, they are very excited to sing this poem at the same time tomorrow. It’s hard to believe that we are already at the Thanksgiving break and I think the excitement is really building for our return to Hunnewell!
I am sharing a flyer from our PreK-12 Director of Libraries and Innovation. Dr. Merritt Moore will be Zooming with the elementary children on December 13 to share her love of coding, art and science. She will be hosting a webinar for the parents that same evening at 6:00. The flyer can be found here.
I hope you all have a relaxing and restful Thanksgiving with family and friends. I am so grateful for everyone in this community who worked together to support our students during the swing space over the past year and a half. We are almost there and I am quite certain the next few months will fly. We will see your children on Tuesday, November 28, as Monday is a district wide professional day.
