Dear Honeywell,
Thank you for all of your kind words and support this week as we said good-bye to our beloved custodian, Larry Peregrini. It was comforting to be with so many of the staff last night at his memorial service. I know Larry would have liked the 21 Gun Salute and the video that shared memories with his wife, children, grandchildren and his Hunnewell family.
Our new head custodian, Dean Leone, was also with us last night. I love the fact that his mother and Larry’s mother were close friends and that Larry and Dean were childhood friends. I look forward to you meeting Dean. I knew he was the right man to fill Larry’s shoes before I even knew these connections.
I was in the building today and the furniture is arriving fast and furiously! This is go time!!
Today we met with WCC who is planning their transition for their after-school program, live on February 26. We also will be offering a before school program again. It will open at 7:30 in the library. We are hoping registration for those interested will be live next week. Stay tuned!
