What a busy week it has been here. Thank you to all of the teachers who came in to set up their classrooms and to the PTO members who provided snacks and helped teachers unpack. It is hard to believe, but we are ready to open the doors on Monday morning! Woohoo!!
Here are a few reminders about the ribbon cutting ceremony. Please have your child arrive at school on time. This is important for several reasons. We want to establish routines and practice our arrival procedures. We also want to get attendance and lunch orders completed before the ceremony. The ceremony is beginning at 9:00AM. Please remember that there are 25 parking spots reserved in the Cameron St. Lot. Carpooling and walking is encouraged. The ceremony will be held in the plaza and parents are invited to gather in the bus loop, just outside the granite bollards.
Also remember that due to the ribbon cutting ceremony, there is no band on Monday morning.
If your child is attending the Before School Program, they can be dropped off in the circle as early as 7:15. If you are arriving after 7:30, please park on Cameron Street and walk your child to the front door. Please use the crosswalks in the parking lot, as teachers will be arriving at school.
Last, but not least, after the ribbon-cutting ceremony, please stop by the window in the front vestibule to collect your car-line signage from Kristyn. This will need to be displayed on your dashboard for pick-up. Even if you are not planning to use the car-line, you should get one. There may be a time when you need to use the car-line.
