Dear Hunnewell,
T-24 until our first day back together in our new building!
A few quick reminders:
1. Please make sure to update Pick-Up Patrol.
2. Make sure kiddos arrive at school on time. We will have a lot of hands on deck to help students get to the blacktop on the playground/ south side of the building.
3. Observe all of our new car-line procedures:
- Cameron is a no parking zone from 8:00 until 8:45.
- Please do not stop in the Brook Path Crosswalk. While we are encouraging for kids to cross onto Cameron across Hampden, there are others who use the Brook Path.
- Only let children out at the Layby and make sure they are ready to depart from the car on the right hand side quickly.
- Stay in your car at ALL times.
4. There are 25 spots in the Cameron St. Lot for the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
5. Parents are invited to gather on the outside of the granite bollards. The space inside the bollards is reserved for students and staff.
We are looking forward to opening the doors tomorrow! Thank you to Kristyn Chin, the teachers and staff, the tech department, the custodial crew and other members from FMD, the PTO, and to Mike St. Germain and Brett Giordano from W.T. Rich who have done an incredible amount of work this past week to get us ready for opening day. There will be even more kudos to follow!
