Dear Families,
Hello. This last official hello of the 2019-2020 school year is sent with deep love and respect for all of you as we bring this school year to a close on Tuesday, June 16th.
It has been a great year full of many firsts for me with the last months certainly being a first for all. I believe in taking the good with the not so good and we had a balance of the two this year. If I can say, we made lemonade from a variety of lemons. Nothing stops Sprague students, staff, and families. We did it!
Thank you for welcoming me and providing me with the opportunity to observe, ask questions, engage, and most importantly, get to know your child(ren). That was the greatest gift of the year and one I will always cherish.
This is not goodbye rather I will see you via summer Zooms for live updates while I patiently wait for the day we can all be together in-person, Until then, enjoy yourselves and please celebrate this year’s great successes, as there were many, while recognizing the challenges. When looking back at those presented challenges, please be proud of what was accomplished.
Reminder: Please join all of Sprague for a community event as we livestream our Last Day of School Assembly on Tuesday, June 16th at 12:00 pm. The livestream link will be sent to you on Tuesday at 8:00 am.
I encourage you all to visit the following link, which is the WPS Summer Learning site. This site will provide our students with engaging opportunities for learning over the summer. https://sites.google.com/wellesleyps.org/2020-wps-summer/home?authuser=1
Please know I am available this summer, and I welcome any and all communications. Until our next Zoom, wishing you all a wonderful, relaxing summer!
Love,
Leigh
