Dear Sprague,
Hello. As September quickly rounds the corner, my heart is full of joy as each day we get closer to the return of school. Even though this year’s return certainly is not the return we ever could have envisioned, it is still a return, which means the Sprague staff and I have “our kids” back! That, I will take.
Knowing that many of our Sprague families have made some very difficult decisions over these past few weeks, please know you have my full support. Those that will be returning to Sprague, we could not be more excited to welcome you. Those that will be joining the Remote Learning School (RLS) or private school, you will be deeply, deeply missed. Having said this, you will be in great hands, and I will be counting the days when you return to Sprague. I love a new adventure as it brings curiosity and a bit of fear, which equals pure excitement!
The staff has returned! It will be my pleasure to officially welcome the Sprague staff to school this morning. Even though their return is also unique, it is another return I will take! Welcome back, Sprague staff. It will be a great year!
As you can imagine, Wellesley Public Schools continues to feverishly plan for the return of our students. As a result, there continues to be questions that require answers. As these answers continue to unfold, I will be compiling all the pertinent information to share during a live Zoom session. I look forward to that!
