Dear Sprague Parents (K-2),
Hello.
Thank you for your great patience with the 1 to 1 technology devices for our K-2 students. The original arrival date of these devices was late September, which meant students would receive his/her device in early October. The great news is that these devices have arrived and have been processed through the Technology Department. We always accept good news!
As a result, I appreciate your patience with a request to return to Sprague for a second trip for pick up of these devices. Thank you!
These devices will be available for pick up for our K-2 students on Wednesday, September 16th between 12:00 pm and 3:00 pm. Please follow the carline process for pick up.
Thank you,
Leigh
In addition, please review the following email sent from the Technology Department late last week:
SEESAW + CLEVER:
Students in grades K-2 will continue using Seesaw as their communication tool with teachers. Through Seesaw, students will be able to access their Zoom/Meet links as well as submit work and receive feedback from teachers. Students will be rostered into their appropriate classrooms and specials and NEW this fall will sign in to Seesaw using Clever Badges (a simple QR/Scan code that stores their username and password providing easier login for our youngest students). Our 1st and 2nd grade students have previously used Clever to access Dreambox, this year when they login they will have access to both Dreambox and Seesaw. (Clever is accessible both through the www.clever.com/in/wellesleyps website on a laptop, chromebook, and android device or through the iOS App available for download from the iTunes Store on an iPad or iPhone.

On Monday 9/14 you should receive an email from Clever entitled: “Help your child login to Clever”. This email will be sent from the address: no-reply@clever.com and will contain important information about creating a Clever Family Portal account. Upon account creation using an email address or phone number, you will be able to provide “instant” access for your student on the same device in which you are logged in, or generate their Clever Badge to scan (or save/print for future use) from an alternate device. This family portal account will remain active for the duration of the school year and should allow for parental/guardian assistance in accessing student accounts in Seesaw and Dreambox.
iPAD DISTRIBUTION:
iPads for K-2 students will be distributed as soon as possible. Pickup information will be communicated through your principal. These iPads are managed by the Wellesley Public Schools and have all necessary applications already installed. If a new application needs to be installed the Technology Department can deploy it remotely. WPS iPads also have an internet filtering program installed that no matter where WPS managed iPads go, all internet filters are still applied. Inappropriate content is filtered and blocked like they are at school. Additionally, the internet turns off at 11pm and back on at 6am.
