Hello.  Despite the weather, please enjoy your long holiday weekend!

Congratulations to our students in grades 3-5 for their successful completion of math MCAS testing this past week.  Each put his/her best foot forward and did so with ease.  Their teachers and I are proud.

MCAS Testing Schedule Spring 2021

  • Tuesday, June 1st – Science – grade 5 

  • We respectfully ask for your help with the following in preparation for the scheduled testing day:

  • Please come to school with a fully charged iPad

  • Please arrive to school on time – no later than 8:30 am

  • Please have students eat a healthy and hearty breakfast

  • Please encourage students to go to bed early for a solid night’s sleep

  • Please know that teachers have well-prepared students so each is ready!

  • We ask that each does his/her best as that is all we can ask for!

 

Field 1.5 Hour (Day)

  • June 8th – kindergarten and grade one – 8:50 – 10:15 am

  • June 8th – grades two and three – 1:10 – 2:40 pm

  • June 9th – grades four and five – 10:00 – 11:30 am 

  • Each event will be approximately 1.5 hours hence Field 1.5 (Day)

Students iPad Return Timeline

  • The week of June 7th, WPS will be collecting student iPads for the summer

  • On June 7th, all families will be receiving a communication on the collection process, which will outline all the necessary components as part of the return

  • iPads will be returned to the classroom teachers

  • RLS Student iPad Return:

  • Thursday, June 17th from 12:30 – 3:00 pm  AND

  • Friday, June 18th from 8:00 – 10:00 am

  • For RLS iPad returns, please return to the Sprague Main Office

Last Day of School

  • June 16th – full day Wednesday

  • June 17th – last day of school for all students – dismissal at 12:00 pm

June 2nd                               Regular Wednesday Schedule – Dismissal at 12:00 pm

June 8th                                Field 1.5 (Day) – grades K-3

June 9th                                Field 1.5 (Day) – grades 4 and 5

June 14th                             Grade 5 Graduation – 9:30 am 

June 16th (Wednesday)      Full-day Wednesday

June 17th                             Last Day of School – ½ day
