Volunteers Needed

  • As Deb Buhler and Sneha Patel continue to build a great PTO team, the following parent volunteers are needed for:

  • Social Committee Members

  • Fifth Grade Parent Committee

  • If interested please email spraguepto@gmail.com

Extra Masks

  • It would be most helpful and appreciated if students can come to school with extra masks, please

  • We have noticed that the paper masks are easily breaking

  • As a result, Chris Babicz is happy to supply extras, which quickly depletes the supply

  • As always, thank you!

Instrument Instruction for Grades 3-5 Students

  • The Performing Arts Department is opening up registration for students interested in learning a band or an orchestra instrument

  • The lessons can be done in-person or remotely

  • Attached is a copy of the safety guidelines for after-school lessons

  • In music class, conversations are being had about each of the instruments, and am so excited to see that many of them are really interested in exploring this option

  • If you would like more information, there is a link on the attached flyer. It also has a QR code which will bring you directly to the registration site.

  • If you have questions about financial aid for these lessons, or any other issues, please don’t hesitate to contact Brittany Hitchcock, Sprague Music Teacher (guest teacher for Katie Dexter)

  • Registration flyer 2021 (1).pdf

  • After-School Lesson Safety Guidelines.pdf

The instruments are:

Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone, Bassoon, Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba, Percussion, Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass

Absence Reporting

  • Thank you for your help with the new absence reporting system!

  • It is working very well and we are grateful!

  • We please ask that you record your child(ren)’s absence on the day of the absence versus prior to the absence

  • THANK YOU – This is a huge help to us all!

  • If you have confidential medical information please email the school nurse at babiczc@wellesleyps.org
