Dear Sprague Families,
STEAM Week was recognized and honored at Sprague School and the other Wellesley schools this week. In recognition of the importance of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math, a variety of STEAM related activities challenged and engaged students throughout the building. Thank you to Ms. J, Sprague librarian, and Ms. Belli, Sprague art teacher, for their work in honor of STEAM Week.
Please enjoy your well-deserved weekend!

Halloween Parade
-
Friday, October 29th
-
8:45 am start time!
-
All families are welcome to join as we will be marching outside. Please gather in the bus circle area and in the car line road as the marching will start at the labyrinth and run along the bus circle sidewalk and the car line sidewalk ending in the access road area – please see the parade map below
-
If there are weather challenges, a final decision will be made by 7:30 am Friday morning as to whether or not the parade will continue
-
All students are asked to wear costumes to school and wear their regular school clothing underneath the costume
-
We are not able to freely use the bathrooms for changing purposes as was done in the past
-
Please note, marching in the parade and wearing a costume is optional for students. If students are not interested in marching, a small group will gather in the library to engage in games during the parade.
-
Happy Halloween!
Picture Day Retake and Late Ordering
-
Success! The photographers were gracious, kind, and flexible during what was a busy day at Sprague
-
If there are any late orders, please submit to the main office no later than October 29th
-
The scheduled retake day is December 9th
Vigilance Needed When Driving in/through the Parking Lot
-
Unfortunately we have received communication that when entering and exiting the Sprague parking lot – both morning and afternoon – cars are driving at excessive speeds
-
Please note that both young students and adults actively travel the parking lots to access and leave school grounds each day
-
Your diligence and vigilance is much needed and appreciated – thank you!
